Ms. Carol Blackwell moved into the Fowler community in 1994 and has been employed with Fowler Public Schools for twelve years. She is originally from east of Flint and attained her Professional Certification in Elementary Education after graduating from UM-Flint. Her continued education was with Central Michigan University with a concentration in early childhood education. She taught Kindergarten/Preschool for four years, 4th grade for three years and is currently teaching third grade. Third grade introduces a partnership and team teaching approach. Through shared teaching strategies and an integrated curriculum, Waldron offers highly qualified teachers that promote positive learning experiences. Ms. Blackwell believes great things happen when a partnership if formed between student, parents, and community.
