Mrs. Annette Pohl grew up in Portland, Michigan. She was the second youngest of seven children and enjoyed the many activities of growing up in a large family especially time at the family cottage. Mrs. Pohl enjoyed playing high school basketball and softball and assisting at youth basketball camps. College began at Lansing Community College with the opportunity to play basketball for the women’s basketball team. Mrs. Pohl completed her Bachelor’s degree at Michigan State University with dual minors in Science and Social Studies and graduating with honors. She has completed post-graduate work at Central Michigan University and is in a Library Science Masters Program at Grand Valley University. Annette has been active and is currently active in volunteering in community and church committees and activities. Teaching fourth grade has been Annette’s favorite grade to teach having spent fifteen total years teaching at that level. She has also worked in the Waldron and High School Libraries and as a Response to Intervention Coach.
